Have you ever
found yourself copying and pasting to get your query to look

Now there is a
quicker way.
Just paste the
work orders into the first text box and hit the button. Copy from
virtually any application and paste directly into Maximo.
It's that simple.
This tool will allow you to filter
or sort data in programs such as excel and access, then
return the data in Maximo for editing.
It
is great for closing a lot of jobs at once.
1.)
Copy the column of data from excel or any other application
(you can even hand type work orders in the textbox).
2.)
Make sure you are in the right Query Converter Module.
3.)
Paste into the left textbox and choose the correct button (in
this case it's the WoNumber button).
4.)
As you push the button, the SQL query gets generated in the
right textbox.
5.)
Press the copy text button (this will copy the query to
the global clipboard).
6.)
Now you are ready to paste to the advanced query area in
Maximo and execute the query.
